Dear Gate users
I have a question regarding the rotation of a cylindrical source.
My code is the following:
/gate/source/addSource twogamma
/gate/source/twogamma/setActivity 500000 becquerel
/gate/source/twogamma/setType backtoback
/gate/source/twogamma/gps/particle gamma
/gate/source/twogamma/gps/energytype Mono
/gate/source/twogamma/gps/monoenergy 0.511 MeV
/gate/source/twogamma/gps/type Volume
/gate/source/twogamma/gps/shape Cylinder
/gate/source/twogamma/gps/radius 1.27 mm
/gate/source/twogamma/gps/halfz 2.159 mm
/gate/source/twogamma/gps/angtype iso
/gate/source/twogamma/gps/centre 45. 5. 0. mm
But this creates a cylinder with an axis parallel to the ZZ’axis. I want to rotate it and obtain a cylinder with an axis parallel to the YY’s axis.
I tried to modify the command
/gate/source/twogamma/gps/halfz 2.159 mm
to
/gate/source/twogamma/gps/halfy 2.159 mm
but it didn’t work.
I also tried to use rotation functions, but I didn’t find a solution.
Thank you very much for all the help.
Best regards,
