[Gate-users] Question about gate pipeline

Hello,

When I study jape rule, I found jape transducer will take both tokens and
lookups as input type.  So I have a question about ANNIE pipeline. We know
gazetteer will take output of tokenizer as input. However, if transducer
take both output of tokenizer and gazetteer as input, can the ANNIE
pipeline be considered as a real pipeline?

In my opinion, in a pipeline, a PR can only use the output of the previous
PR which is next to it. So the jape transducer can only take output from
Gazetteer but not from tokenizer.
Please correct me.
