I can't already see the number of tracked events in my terminal. Could anyone have activated this feature for him/her gate run?If any, I'll appreaciate to let me know.

 I tried it but it doesn't work. Is it possible that I am missing any character or space in that command?I use of Ubuntu 13.04.

Thanks for your note. I have installed Gate7.0. Now I have a code running in a terminal. Right now I typed "killall -SIGUSR2 Gate" into another terminal and in the path of my code source . But it can not recognize the command...What's wrong?

 Hi,

Gate >= 7.0 understands the SIGUSR2 signal. When it receives it, it shows on the terminal an one line status "Run ID: 1 / 2 ; Event ID: 123 / 4563 .. [5%]"

Just type the following command in another terminal:
$ killall -SIGUSR2 Gate
it finds all running instances of Gate and sends them the SIGUSR2 signal.

On Mac OS X, just typing Ctrl + T on the Gate terminal which gives the same result.

Best regards,

Hi there, I want to see the number of events tracked while running the gate code. InGeant4, we can observe it with, e.g,  /run/printProgress 100000 , but itdoesn't work for gate. Does anyone have any idea on this? Thanks-Soman
