Dear experienced GATE users,
I have generated an x-ray spectra by using Spektr program (Siewerdsen, Boone and Siebert) for an x-ray tube potential of 120 kV at a constant 1 mAs and a total filtration of 11.8 mm Al. I, would like to use the generated x-ray spectra as GPS point source with user-defined energy histogram or arbitrary point-wise spectrum (whatever suitable) in CT simulation with GATE.
Here I have tried one using user-defined energy histogram for use GATE Simulation of CT. But I am not sure. So, please have a look at the file attached and correct me if I am wrong. The first column of the histogram is the energy bin in MeV in the x-ray spectra and the 2nd column is the photon fluence (photons per sq mm) in the x-ray spectra as weight of the histogram.
Any suggestion/modification/comments on the above matter will be highly appreciated.
Thanking you in advance.
Regards,
S. Megha Singh
