Dear Gate-users,

I have following problems using Gate in interactive mode (i.e., in the
idle> prompt):

   1. If I type a wrong command and press enter and then I want to "undo"
it, I do not know how to do it.
   2. I do not know how to exit from the "idle" prompt in the middle of
entering many commands. The "exit" works on a *clean* idle prompt only!
   3. The "cntrl + c"; "cntrl + x" or "cntrl + z" works depending on where
I am on the idle prompt. Is there no decent way out?

Can you please suggest the solution(s)?
