[Gate-users] parallel computing in root-formatted file process

Dear all,
       I'm doing a simulation of large PET which generates a huge amount of
root data, I use C language to process root data event by event, which is
time-consuming, I have a multi-core server, is there some techniques which
can speed up the root data process ? I have tried PROOF but it seems the
promotion is very small.  Thanks a lot!
