[Gate-users] Overestimation of surface (skin) dose in megavoltage photon beam

Greetings to everyone,

I'm studying the amount of electron contamination in megavoltage
photon beams. I noticed that the dose that GATE/Geant4 reports for the
surface of my water phantom (z=0cm) is ~50% for a 10x10 cm^2 field
with SSD=100cm, whereas I've seen many papers reporting much less
numbers with real dosimetry.

Does anyone know a workaround to this glitch? Perhaps I should ask to
Geant4 mailing lists instead ?

Best regards,
Stathis
