[Gate-users] Complex geometries and GDML ?

Dear Gaters,


I have a pair of questions regarding geometry,


·         Can one use all Volume shape defined in GEANT within a Gate macro (http://geant4.web.cern.ch/geant4/G4UsersDocuments/UsersGuides/ForApplicationDeveloper/html/Detector/geomSolids.html) i.e. can use Generic polyhedra or twisted shape?

·         My second question is related to CAD import inside Gate, I saw that one can enable GDML support, is vGate delivered with a GDML support? Is there an example in the doc describing how to import GDML structures to Gate?
