[Gate-users] x-ray spectrum from linac phase space file

Hi everyone,
this isn't entirely on-topic so I apologise in advance.
The energy spectrum for photons as calculated from the phase space
files found in here[1] has a peak somewhere near 500KeV[2]. The
characteristic x-rays on the other hand for tungsten fall roughly in
the range 60-70 KeV.
Does anyone have any idea why the peak is so off ? Or perhaps it
represents something entirely different ?
Thank you for your consideration.
Best regards,
Stathis
