[Gate-users] About hits detection in PMTs

Dear All,

Can someone share how to create several numbers of PMTs tubes for SPECT system to detect the number of hits using GATE?

I am a bit confused on how the hits are detected in GATE and how to use the commands for that.
Can someone clarify me in this link http://www.opengatecollaboration.org/sites/opengatecollaboration.org/files/HandsOnSPECTLM.pdf how many PMTs are actually there?

And for one block crystal in SPECT system do I need to use "readout" step for digitizer configuration? Thanks in advance.
