Try adding the following options to your cmake environment:

CLHEP_CONFIG_EXECUTABLE /home/username/2.1.1.0/CLHEP/bin/clhep-config
CLHEP_INCLUDE_DIR /home/username/2.1.1.0/CLHEP/include
CLHEP_LIBRARY /home/username/2.1.1.0/CLHEP/lib
GATE_USE_OWN_CLHEP ON
