Hi,
You may need to do "mkdir lib" in your ECAT7_HOME directory and copy "libecat.a" into this directory.
Hope this help.
Good luck,
Guoming

Subject: [Gate-users] error during installing GATE 6.2
Dear GATE user,
I am installing GATE6.2 on UBUNTU 12.04 and at the end of installation, when I install GATE, at last step, there is an error:
Linking CXX executable Gate
/usr/bin/ld: cannot find -lecat
collect2: ld returned 1 exit status
make[2]: *** [Gate] Error 1
make[1]: *** [CMakeFiles/Gate.dir/all] Error 2
make: *** [all] Error 2
[ 2%] Built target itkzlib
[ 7%] Built target ITKMetaIO
Linking CXX executable Gate
/usr/bin/ld: cannot find -lecat
collect2: ld returned 1 exit status
make[2]: *** [Gate] Error 1
make[1]: *** [CMakeFiles/Gate.dir/all] Error 2
make: *** [all] Error 2
I have compiled ecat before GATE6.2 and I also specify the ecat path in ccmake, like:
ECAT7_HOME /opt/GATE/GATE6.2/ecat7
I am highly appreciated if any one can help me!
BABAK
