[Gate-users] cylindrical source

Hi Eunsin,



I know its not the easiest thing to do because there seems to be quite a
disconnect between “sources” and “geometry”.

So just in case you haven’t received an answer yet I believe you can do it
using something like the following (focus on posrot1 and posrot2):



/gate/source/addSource YourSourceName

/gate/source/YourSourceName/gps/shape Cylinder

/gate/source/YourSourceName/gps/type Volume

/gate/source/YourSourceName/gps/radius 0.5 cm

/gate/source/YourSourceName/gps/halfz 1.0 cm

/gate/source/YourSourceName/gps/centre 0. 0. 0. Cm

/gate/source/YourSourceName/gps/particle gamma

/gate/source/YourSourceName/gps/energy 140.5 keV

/gate/source/YourSourceName/setActivity 1E-3 Ci

/gate/source/YourSourceName/hpd/angtype iso

/gate/YourSourceName/gps/posrot1 0 0 1

/gate/YourSourceName/gps/posrot2 1 0 0
