[Gate-users] MU to number of particles

Dear sir,

   I am trying to use GATE on my personal computer to acquire dose deposited  in  a modulated intensity treatment plan according to paper "Simulation of a 6 MV Elekta Precise Linac photon beam using GATE/GEANT4". I need some good accuracy in my calculations ,I am not clear of the relation between the number of events and number of photon or secondries. 
   Also, I use GATE V6-1 to do my simulations. I read that on new version V6-1 there are some improvements in definition of a TPS pencil beam source. However, I am interested in how the conversion of MU to number of particles (for photon or electron ) or events has been developped  in intensity modulated radiation therapy simulation . Can you inform me of the related information?
   I set the number of simulated event by the following lines:


  /gate/random/setEngineSeed auto

  /gate/application/noGlobalOutput 

  /gate/application/setTotalNumberOfPrimaries [number]
