Hi,
I am new to GATE and need to simulate several PET scanners. Since all
scanners "see" the same object, I was thinking of splitting the
simulations in 2 steps. In the first step, I would simulate propagation in
the object (a sphere, human head etc...). This step would be common to all
simulations. In the second step, I would read the output list file from
the first step and propagate those photons in the different scanner
models. This last step would be specific to each scanner model.
Is it possible to do that in GATE? I guess this would require GATE to be
able to read an input list file and "continue" the propagation of photons
in that file in another medium...
Thanks for your help,
