Depends on what you decided to get as an output. I think the spect.mac gives:

- *.root file is studied with benchspect.C

- *.dat files are the summary of all interaction. Essentially, you need only those files. You study it either with Excel, Matlab, IDL...

- *.sin files are the projection in 16-bit unsigned. I use ImageJ, but you can also use Matlab.

Cheers,

Subject: [Gate-users] Output Analysis in GATE !!

Hi Everyone,

I am new to GATE simulation tool. I have installed the tool with all the dependencies and datasets correctly. To check, I ran inbuilt SPECT.mac example in GATE.
My question is, how to analyze the outputs? What are the files that should be used for analysis ( after simulation is completed )?

Awaiting valuable answers....

Thanking you,
Siva.
