[Gate-users] voxelized phantom dose calculation

Dear Gate-users;

I used a voxelized phantom to measure radiation dose of the patient from a
64-slice CT experiment. The output of the simulation is a binary file
giving a matrix with the same dimensions as the voxelized phantom.

I want to know that if each element of the matrix is representing energy
deposition in corresponding voxel or not?
In order to find mean energy deposited in the phantom, is it correct to sum
all the elements of the matrix and divide the result by the total number of
phantom voxels?

Thanks,
SHAHLA
