[Gate-users] Bug fix: virtual Gate 2.1 issue with GateToProjectionSet

Dear Gate Users,

Following the message concerning an issue with vGate 2.1 (see below), we
have
added a fix in vgate and Gate v6.2 tarball. New versions of the virtual
gate and
Gatev6.2 tarball are now available at:

The bug fix concerns the GateToProjectionSet class. The projection
functionality
is now triggered by the system used in the simulation: SPECT or Optical.
We took this opportunity to include the latest modifications of Gate in the
new version
of the tarball. Concerning the optical imaging we did some small changes in
the
example_OPTICAL macros and added a new command that allows the user to fill
or
not the Optical data tree:

/gate/output/root/setRootOpticalFlag 0 (or 1)

In case you do not want to download the entire tarball and want to apply
the fix
related to the projection issue, you can simply download the attached file
in your
/digits_hits/src/ directory and re-compile the code.
