[Gate-users] Questions on ImageCT output for attenuation correction

Dear gate-users,

we are trying to do a CT-Simulation in order to obtain an image, usable
for attenuation correction with STIR on a previously done
PET-Simulation.
Therefore, we simulated the CT-Detector and we get a single slice
output.
The question now, however is, how to interpret the CT-Image output.

Can anyone give some more details on this "binary matrix of float
numbers"? What exactly is stored in that matrix?

Furthermore, how can one obtain a three dimensional CT-Image out of the
time-sliced CT-Image output?
