Dear Jean-Baptiste.
A long time ago still in Gate v3.0.0 I tried to do what you wanted. You need
an ion source (176 Lu) and some extra config to include radioactive decay in
GEANT4. The problem then was, that sensitive detector and source COULD NOT
occupy same space. So the simulation did not work. Now for newer Gate I do
not know.
Kind regards

Hi all,
Is there a quick way to simulate the natural activity of Lutetium?
Or do you have to define a source in each detector with 2.59% of the mass
being active with a half-life of 3.78e10 years? Is there a way to insert a
repeater on a source?
Regards
jb
