[Gate-users] Can Fictitious Tracking be used with ImageNestedParametrisedVolume?

Hello Matthew,

unfortunately no. To date, Gate can manage images (matrix of voxel) with
two different ways, due to historical reasons InterFileReader-like on one
side and ImageNested-like on the other.

Fictitious tracking is only available for Interfilereader. ImageNested
manage images in another way and does not support this tracking. It however
supports actors and other features. It will support mhd image file format
in the next 6.2 release.

There are plans to homogenate those two ways of doing but it is a long work
and it will not be available until some times (but it will !).

Sincerely,
David
