[Gate-users] problem with running GATE

Dear GATE users;

 

I have installed GATE V6.1 recently on Linux Ubuntu 10.4. Installation
completed successfully but after launching GATE I saw "Idle>" in command
prompt instead of "PreInit>". As you know in "ldle>" mode I am not able to
define scanner geometry etc. what should I do? Is this problem related to
installation process?
