Dear Umit

You can start with the examples in   ~Progs/Gate/gate_v6.0_p01/examples/      directory. For example:
go to directory   ~Progs/Gate/gate_v6.0_p01/examples/example_PET/

You can use gedit  PET_Ecat_System.mac  to edit and see the commands inside the macro, run the software and type the commands inside the macro manually. 

To execute one of the macros, lets say    Pet_Ecat_System.mac macro  run Gate software and type the command  
/control/execute  PET_Ecat_System.mac

 My problem is absolutely with vGATE (Virtual Gate Application) As i read
on page of GATE, there were
writing that it is better to start and make training with virtual gate then
i downloaded and installed vGATE, but the problem is i don't know how to
run in vGate.. let me tell you something, when i opened terminal in virtual
machine i entering the command "Gate" and then terminal giving screen shoot
like that;

So the problem is what to DO IN THE Idle tittle? for example, due to
my geant4 knowledge, it has to run something or give the reaction
after writing vis/viewer... so on. or it has to run simple examples
after writing execute or run/.... but i really don't know that do i
need compile some folders? do i need define a geometry or should i
just "run" the examples which already defined in the gate examples, if
so, how to go examples in the command tittle...
Please help me,
i need your help on Virtual GATE...
