[Gate-users] Pileup module and coincidence timing

Dear GATE users,
I am using the pileup module in my PET simulation. However, the use of this module leads to coincidences with a time(-of-flight) difference, time1-time2, much higher than the coincidence window - in fact, up to the length of the pile-up time (90 ns in my example). With a coincidence time window set to 3 ns, I would expect that there is no way such a coincidence could be created. Attached is a snapshot of the time-of-flight distribution of a point source (tof.png). If I deactivate the pile-up module, the distribution looks reasonable (tof2.png).
If anyone could give me a hint what I might be doing wrong - thank you a lot in advance.

Best regards
Yannick Berker
