Dear Juan,
Just to add to Yann's comment:
If you intend to perform some 131I dosimetry, NEVER use the mean beta energy.
You should use the spectra given in the second reference.
Alternatively, the last MIRD book (Endo and Eckerman, 2008) contains a CD with all relevant data.
