[Gate-users] Volume ID convention

Hi Tuoyu!

Usually, the indexing increases first along the x-axis, then along the y-axis, and finally along the z-axis.

In the case of the ring repeater, the indexing increases in the counter-clockwise direction around the ring axis.

See the figures I've attached.

I saw people asked this question but there is not response. In the output file of gate there are many "ID" (volume ID, source ID etc). So what is the convention of volume ID? Thanks a lot.
