Dear Gaters
Hear I'm again, I apologize if i send to you lot of messages, I am
a beginner with *Gate* I lost about a 2 monthwith the installation and
the validation of my installation, I reinstalled several times geant4
gate and even I changed the version of linux ubuntu (8.10 4.10 ver ver
11.10).
No one in my department has experienced with gate, the archive of
the mailing list helpful but not in the of the time, So I decided to
start sharing my encountered issues with my friends in the Gate's users
mailing list, as beginning I have 3 Questions:
1 - I executed the CT example (classic) in Gate by coping the macro in
in the files *acquisition.mac*, *digitizer.mac* and so on ... in the
Gate environment (because I can not execute directly the file
*benchmarkCT.mac*), I Obtained a 3 data output files
*benchmarkCT.root*, *benchmarkCT_000.dat* and *benchmarkCT_001.dat*.so
my my question is how to rid or to extract the information from this files.
2 - When i try to draw a volume with OGLSX viewer by executing the
next commend line*/gate/cylindricalPET/vis/forceWireframe*regarding to
following macro**:
# S Y S T E M
/gate/world/daughters/name cylindricalPET
/gate/world/daughters/insert cylinder
/gate/cylindricalPET/setMaterial Water
/gate/cylindricalPET/geometry/setRmax 100 mm
/gate/cylindricalPET/geometry/setRmin 86 mm
/gate/cylindricalPET/geometry/setHeight 18 mm
/gate/cylindricalPET/vis/forceWireframe
/vis/viewer/zoom 3
I obtain the following warning or an error message and no visualization
is obtained:
G4PhysicalVolumeModel::Validate() called.> > Volume of the same name and
copy number ("world_phys", copy 0) still exists and is being used.> >
WARNING: This does not necessarily guarantee it's the same> > volume you
originally specified in /vis/scene/add/.>
3 - How may i use or integrate an other viewer instead the OpenGLX
viewer, need - it - re-installation of Gate to integrate anotherviewer tool?
Thanks in advance for any kind of information.
best regard,
