[Gate-users] Gate Licensing

Dear Gate Users,

I'm currently arranging for GATE to be installed on a condor pool at my university in Manchester. However, the IT administrators for the condor system have asked me about the licensing model for GATE - i.e. will there be any problems with distributing the software onto many computers. 

I know that GATE is open source, but I can't find any details about licensing etc anywhere in the documentation. Can anyone tell me what the licensing model is, and what the rules are about distributing GATE on a network?
