[Gate-users] How to display CT image with dose actor in radiotherapy application

Dear all Gaters,

I am trying the examples in radiotherapy. I face following problems:

1. I couldn't save the dose actor output in ".root" format. I have tried to
change it to "dose.root", but it didn't show up in the output. When I use
".hdr", I can only open it in ImageJ and the it is a sequential of black
and white images (111 images in total). Can I open the ".hdr" image in a 3D
view with color scale? Also, can I have the 2D view of the dose
distribution?

2. I have used a patient CT as the target. However, I don't know how to
visualize it in OpenGL. My goal is to show the CT image and see how the
proton dose distribution on it. Dose anyone help?
