Hi, I'm doing the simulation of CT projection, and I have one question about the random generator Here is the command in my .mac file/gate/random/setEngineName JamesRandom
/gate/random/setEngineSeed auto
/gate/random/verbose 1 My question is, why the projections of different simulation-runs at a specified angle are all the same, that is, the values of 2 projections between 2-runs are all the same, even I turned the random EngineSeed "auto". Isn't this a command to create the different random pattern within different simulation-runs? I know change the type of randon generator(JamesRandom、Ranlux64 or MersenneTwister) can solve this question, but I still want to use the same kind of randon generator with different pattern.  By the way, I used the command "Arbitrary" to define my gamma-ray source, was this the reason causing the above problem? Thanks for your answering! Best regards, Ray
