Hi Cindy,
Alpha and theta are angles to setup a parallelepiped (see figure in
wikipedia page for their definition). I haven't worked out what the
phi stands for as any value does not appear to change anything.

By default the angles are set to 90deg which allows to create cuboid
(each face of the parallelepiped are rectangle).
