[Gate-users] Sinogram format data without DOI effect

Dear gate-users,

This is just a clarification to DOI issue. I am not really sure how the
sinogram output is generated but I assume it is rebinned from a root ouput
file that takes the LOR that at a given depth in the crystal and assigns the
LOR to the surface to the crystal. The sinogram is then rebinned from the
information at the surface of the crystal and the DOI information is lost.
Is there a way to use the DOI in the crystal and rebin that LOR directly to
generate the sinogram output data?

Best regards,

Naser
