Hi,sebnem erturk
Thank you very much for your reply.
I have tried the macro, the result seem better than before. But if I want to module the segment light guide as shown of Fig.1, I find the module “start_box” can’t performed the saw cut depth.
Thanks in advance for any help.

Cheers.

Hi,
You can try below macro?
I did some time ago with DETECT2000.
# -------------- Optical Grease ------------- #
start_box
boundaries -8.0 8.0 -8.0 8.0 0.0 0.1
n 1.55
absorption_coeff 4000.0
scattering_coeff 4000.0
fin_xmin METAL 1.0RC
fin_xmax METAL 1.0RC
fin_ymin METAL 1.0RC
fin_ymax METAL 1.0RC
fin_zmin POLISH
fin_zmax POLISH
end_box

Good luck!

Dear Gate users,
Using DETECT, I simulated detector module consisted of a LSO Block and PMT, and the block detector segmented by cutting slots in a single piece of scintillator crystal, more detail see the attached file. Unfortunately, the results seem not good. I want to define the light guide between Block and PMT, but I don’t know how to define them using DETECT?
How could I define the light guide using DETECT?
Any ideas or suggestions would be appreciated.
Cheers
