Hello,

It seems the links are dead ...

I will ask Alexandre to upload a new one and send the link on the mailing list.

Please check your gate version about that. We have builded all the patches for
Gate 5, so you have to do it manually if you are using Gate 6.

regards,

Hello,

I am also running on a x86_64 bits system and I would like to have the answer to
my problem for months now but I cannot reach the links of any archives that are
published in the mailing list. How can I get the authorization to the archives?

Thank you in advance,
Sincerely,
Dounia Taleb

Hi,

you question has already been asked ten times.
well, we should publish a patched version of lmf3 for gate.
I think you have a x86_64 bits system/gcc, and there is a bug with the lmf
output.

The patch has been post in the list severals weeks ago.
let's see if I found it ...

ok, try this one :
http://lists.opengatecollaboration.org/mailman/private/gate-users/2010-October/004575.html
Those patch/install are for gate 5.x.x, but you can read them and use it to
patch your gate 6.x.x If I remember well this should solve your lmf3 issue.

52min 02s Objet : [Gate-users] LMF output in Gate 6.1 Dear Gate community, I
finished installing Gate 6.1 on a virtual Ubuntu machine and compilation and
linking worked fine, including ECAT and LMF support. However when I start a
simulation (that by the way worked fine in vGate 1.0) I always get the error
message  [G4] GateToLMF::RecordEndOfEvent::GateCoincidenceDigiCollection not
found a couple of times and only a small LMF output file some bytes in size is
generated. I'm not sure what I can do to alleviate that situation. I already
tried installing a different version of Geant (4.9.3p02 instead of 4.9.4p01) but
the problem persists. Any hint in the right direction would be greatly
appreciated. Kind regards, Harald -- Harald Braun, Dipl.-Phys. Univ.
