Hi Gaters,
I know it is more related to hGate than Gate, but it may be of interest for some of the list, so very sorry for the spam!
Prior to the ASTRO 2010 meeting in San Diego, a short course about GPU programming (29-30th Oct) is organised at the University of California San Diego by researchers of the Center for Advance Radiotherapy Technologies and the San Diego Supercomputer Center.
Thistwo-day course will focus on both the theoretical and practical aspects, with hands-on exercises (inc. FDK CBCT reconstruction on GPU).
It will be aimed at researchers in medical physics and medical imaging who want to gain training experience in massively parallel computing using GPUs.
For more info, here is the link http://radonc.ucsd.edu/Research/CART/GPU_Course.asp and the flyer.
Best Regards,
Franck
