[Gate-users] trpd parallelbeam fanbeam collimator errors

Following my earlier question,
1) I noticed that when I dont use visualization ( OGLSX ) trpd and parallebeam collimators dont give any error.
So,
/gate/SPECThead/daughters/insert trpd and
/gate/SPECThead/daughters/insert parallelbeam
seem to be working fine when the visualization is off.
2) Although in the users guide there is an example of a fanbeam collimator, I cant activate this using
/gate/SPECThead/daughters/insert fanbeam
parameter value is not listed in the candidate List.
Parameter is out of candidate list (index 0)
Candidates : box sphere cylinder cone polycone axeX axeY axeZ 3axes hexagone ellipso trpd wedge matrix parameterizedBoxMatrix regularMatrix fictitiousVoxelMap fictitiousCylindricalVoxelMap replicaMatrix compressedMatrix parallelepiped parallelbeam collimator
I ll appreaciate if you could clarify these matters.
Thanks,

Hi,
I am getting these errors when I try to insert trpd / parallelbeam / fanbeam collimators. (Gate v4, Mac OS leopard)
- trpd
Despite the error shown below, the trapezoidal collimator is still created ( visualized) and my simulations run and i get reasonable outputs.
What are these Boolean errors? Are they harmless ? Can i still rely on my output data.
PreInit> /gate/SPECThead/daughters/insert trpd
/gate/SPECThead/daughters/insert trpd
Volume of the same name and copy number ("world_P", copy 0) still exists and is being used.
WARNING: This does not necessarily guarantee it's the same
volume you originally specified in /vis/scene/add/.
/vis/scene/notifyHandlers scene-0
BooleanProcessor::execute : unknown faces !!!
BooleanProcessor: boolean operation failed
- parallelbeam
How can I fix the error below ?
PreInit> /gate/SPECThead/daughters/insert parallelbeam
/gate/SPECThead/daughters/insert parallelbeam
*** Break *** segmentation violation
gdb not found, need it for stack trace
Gate(7105,0xa0040500) malloc: *** error for object 0x486abf8: pointer being freed was not allocated
....
....
*** set a breakpoint in malloc_error_break to debug
Gate(7219,0xa0040500) malloc: *** error for object 0x486b9c4: pointer being freed was not allocated
*** set a breakpoint in malloc_error_break to debug
- fanbeam
Is this not supported in GATE? Is there anyway to include it ?
