[Gate-users] gate installation error

Hello Saeed,

I've confronted this same error. It is caused by a problem with how root was installed. If you followed the instructions on the gate web site, you configured root with --prefix=$PWD. This results in some incorrect paths buried in the root/bin/root-config script. If you install root without the --prefix option, root-config will be correct and the errors when compiling gate should be resolved.

Regards, Mike
