[Gate-users] Problem with latest_event_ID after Bug fixed in Gate.cc

Hi Simon,

after having troubles finding the total number of emitted events I received the
hint from Sebastièn to replace the following line:

TTree *Gate = (TTree*)gDirectory->Get("Gate");
by
TH1 *latest_event_ID = (TH1*)gDirectory->Get("latest_event_ID");

This was fine on my MAC after having introduced the patchPhysics.tar corrections
distributed by Thibault Frisson.

Now I noticed while running more Gate macros, that "latest_eventID" is always
zero, once I introduced your Gate.CC correction from March 12.

I cannot be sure, whether it is really related, but my search points
to something that has changed with this patch.

This is just to point this out to all, who are involved in
producing the new patch for gate_v6 announced to be coming soon.
Maybe, this is helpful.
