Dear all,

We get the following run time error when I start Gate V6:

./gate_v6.0.0/bin/Linux-g++/Gate
./gate_v6.0.0/bin/Linux-g++/Gate: symbol lookup error: /home/martin/
GATEstuff/gate_v6.0.0/tmp/Linux-g++/Gate/libGate.so: undefined symbol:
_ZN5TTree15RecursiveRemoveEP7TObject

I have compiled the following source codes:
gate 6.0.0
geant4 9.2.p02
root v5.25.04
clhep 2.0.4.2
lmf 3.0

with:
gcc (Ubuntu 4.3.3-5ubuntu4) 4.3.3

on:
Linux hbaserver 2.6.28-18-server #59-Ubuntu SMP Thu Jan 28 02:25:03
UTC 2010 x86_64 GNU/Linux

with:
Ubuntu 9.04

Some additional information is:
ldd gate_v6.0.0/bin/Linux-g++/Gate | grep libGate.so
libGate.so => /home/martin/GATEstuff/gate_v6.0.0/tmp/Linux-g++/Gate/
libGate.so (0x00007f29f273f000)

and:
nm -u ./gate_v6.0.0/tmp/Linux-g++/Gate/libGate.so | grep
ZN5TTree15RecursiveRemoveEP7TObject
                  U _ZN5TTree15RecursiveRemoveEP7TObject

Our question is if anyone knows a solution to our symbol lookup error?

Best regards,
Urban Hansson
