[Gate-users] Illegal application state

Dear Gate users,
I am a novice a novice Gate user. I am trying to simulate a simple SPECT head and have defined the system with default SPECTHead system. Now, when I am trying to define the source using the command /gate/source/addSource NAME, I am getting error as "Illegal application state". What is the reason for such an error and how it can be corrected ?
