Hi all:
When I used root to analyse the singles signal time stamps of one module in a pet scanner, and static the time interval of time stamps of every two near singles' time stamp. I get a curious result, the histogram of the interval of time stamps presented a exponent attenuation curve. But I think the result should be a gussian distribution curve with the mean value at average time interval of the singles beating the same module.
I tried the experiment under gate4.0 and 6.0, changed many shape of phantom and source and tried fdg/backtoback/ion source, they all give me a exponent attenuation curve. Is it a bug in gate source code?
I analysised the time interval of single signal using the benchmarkPET.mac , only opened the singleflag to get single root output and write the root analysis code. I applied it in this letter and hope someone could help me.
