[Gate-users] Problem in installation of GATE v5.0.0_p01

Dear GATE users,

I am trying to install GATE v5.0.0_p01 on Fedora 7 (2.6.21-1.3194.fc7) 
following the guidelines updated by Bryan McIntosh (GATE 5.0.0_p01 install 
guide for Ubuntu) since January 2010. Unfortunately I faced a problem 
installing the ECAT7 (error on "make install" command) and LMF libraries 
(error on "make" command).
I have read all the previous posts in the mailing list regarding similar 
problems but I couldn't find a solution.
I am wondering if the problem is that I use Fedora instead on Ubuntu.
Can anyone help me?
Furthermore, I will appreciate if someone can share guidelines to install 
GATE on Fedora.
