This workshop will be focussed to the " Biology of ionizing radiation" from the 22nd to 25th of September 2010 in Berder Island, France.

> Our main objective is to organize a European workshop which brings together biology, physic, chemistry, applied to external and targeted radiotherapy. Overview lectures will be given by experts in the scientific fields. Young researchers will get the opportunity of a first talk in a European meeting to present their research projects. In order to stimulate intense discussions between young and senior scientists, the total attendance is limited to a maximum of 60 persons.

> The symposium is organized into 5 sessions held within 2.5 days. Each session will start with an invited expert summarizing the essence of a selected aspect of the biology of radiation. Then, it will be followed by 6 oral presentations from young researchers, based on original data, and selected from proffered abstracts.
