Dear Jefferson,
There is no particular issue if you add new files inside the geometry
directory. Gate currently uses the Geant4 build system which
automatically find and compile new files under the geometry/src/
directory.
Be sure to have your .cc source file inside source/geometry/src and
your .hh header file inside source/geometry/include. If you still have
an issue, it is probably due to some mistake inside your source code.
If you need more help, you might want to send the precise error
message on the list.
