You can also use a condor - cluster system, even on a single computer.
This way you split you job in a lot of small jobs, running one after the other, saving result at each step, and condor will take back the work when electricity come back, relaunching only last job who lost data.

Hi,

Unfortunatly not !!
But at least, depending on what output do you use, you can open it, see in
it what is the time information of your last event (Singles or
Coincidences), and then launch the rest of your simulation.
