Hi Ida,
We have a model of the GE Discovery LS scanner which we can share with someone who has a
permanent position in your group. We also ask that person to respond if he/she agrees with this:
Disclaimer: We are glad to share with your group our current GATE model of the GE Advance/Discovery LS PET scanner, which we have been developing and validating during the last few years (enclosed) . Despite that, there still are some discrepancies with measurements and we will be glad to work together for their full understanding and elimination. Please be advised that the model is approximate and is to be used only for research. Therefore we do not carry any responsibility for any erroneous results or mishaps related to the use of the model in any way. If you use the model in publications, please refer to our paper (Schmidtlein et al,) in the January'06 issue of Medical Physics (v 33(1) p 198). Please do not share the scanner model with other groups without our consent.
Best regards,
Assen

Subject: [Gate-users] Code for modelled PET systems?
Hello Gaters!
I wonder if the camera setups (Gate code) is available anywhere for the "Gate-modelled systems"-->"PET systems" listed on the Gate homepage? I don't have access to any camera myself yet, so I'm not sure on how to set up all crystals, blocks and so on... I'm particulary interested in any GE camera, so if anyone knows if these codes are publicly available, please let me know!
I also have another question regarding Matlab. Does anyone know if it's possible to get the sinogram output imported and reconstructed in Matlab? I want to move all my output to Matlab where I will do more calculartions, but I need a good way to move either unreconstructed data there and reconstruct it in matlab, or ready images that can be imported as matrices. Does anyone have experience on Gate-->Matlab?
Thanks for any help! Cheers,
Ida
