[Gate-users] May 6/09, Delayed Coincidence offset

It looks like Gate's minimum delayed coincidence window is 0.5
microseconds; from what the error message says, it doesn't look like
there's a way to set it any shorter, unless it's simply an arbitrary
limit set in the code and can be fixed by changing some of the source
and recompiling. Any GATE developers want to chime in and say why
this limit is there, and if it can be made smaller?

Cheers,

-Bryan

Dear All,

I am trying to define a delayed coincidence window for a PET system
using the following lines,
       /gate/digitizer/name delay
       /gate/digitizer/insert coincidenceSorter
       /gate/digitizer/delay/setInputName Singles
       /gate/digitizer/delay/setOffset 100. ns
       /gate/digitizer/delay/setWindow 3.0 ns

but the simulation crashes with the following error
Delayed coincidences offset (1.00000000e-07 sec) should be
bigger or equal to 5.00000000e-07 sec
       Goodbye

Any suggestions will be greatly appreciated, thanks

Peter
