Dear Claudia.
I hope that is not an insult, but recall that description in section 8.2.12
of User Guide (v.3.0.0) says that resolution is defined by sigma value of
Gaussian distribution. Usually, people use Full Width at Half Maximum, which
is related to sigma as FWHM=2*sqrt(ln(4)))=approximately 2.3548. For formula
look at www.wikipedia.org at "Normal distribution".
Best regards

Dear Gate Users,
DIGITIZER
Somebody Could help me with the function spblurring?
My SPECT system doesn't reproduce the spatial resolution similar the true
system.
I'd like to know the physical formulae about the blurring... No the source
code but the math for do this blurring and the variables to do this (I know
this function use the gaussian, but like to know How is this work?).
Thanks,
Cl?udia
