[Gate-users] random seed change??????

Dear gate users

I work with gate4.00 for dosimetry application.

I have a question about random seed number.

When I run a simulation two times the results are exactly the same.

I tried gate4 user’s guide to change random seed for each simulation. But
the system produced the following error message:

**********Illegal parameter /gate/output/root/setsaverndmflag
0***************

*************batch is interrupted******************************

I tried Simon recommendation to change the MTwistEngine random generator to
its old version HepJamesRandom but the results of two simulations
remains unchanged.

I also tried Erin McKay to activate MTwistEngine random generator but the
results still unchanged.

I would like to know how I can add these lines to gateseeder.cc file and
which lines and which other files will be changed?
