Hi all,

I'm comparing the results obtained with GATE (4.0.0) and Geant4
(4.9.1.p01) for the interaction of gamma rays (511 keV) with a LYSO
crystals. In a previous email, I already mentioned that there is some
differences concerning the photoelectric fraction.
The numbers below are the results of a LYSO crystal already defined in
the GATE list of materials.

Geant4 GATE

Number of generated gammas : 50000 49805
Number of detected singles: 4511
                    3713
Photoelectric fraction:
30% 23.3%

I attached the two different spectra obtained with GATE and Geant4.
If anyone has the same problem or can be explain this difference, please
help.

Thanks in advance.
Mario
